Our Goals

The School-Based Mental Health Training Institute was created to increase access to school-based mental health services, and strengthen the pipeline of mental health professionals into high-need school districts.

About the Grant

In an effort to increase the capacity of credentialed mental health service providers within schools, the Masters of Science in Professional Counseling Program and the Master of Social Work programs received a 4.9-million-dollar grant through the U.S. Department of Education to establish the School-Based Mental Health Training Institute.
